2012 Honda Insight

2012's Honda Insight is upping the game for next year. The hybrid will get a bit of a refresh when it is introduced in November, both with performance and style.

Additions and improvements include better air conditioning, more angular design for better aerodynamics, both of which give the car a bump in fuel economy. Front suspension is now constructed from aluminum instead of steel, causing less cabin noise and vibrations. Honda has also improved quality of materials used in seats and dash materials, as well as increased head room. Insight's spoiler has been slimmed down too.

These upgrades are available on Insight vehicles world wide.

The Japanese auto maker previewed other changes at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Additions were shown off onboard the Honda vehicle in Germany, and are expected to be applied to North American models.

Those US-spec Insights will include an upgraded audio system with added features, as well as in-dash navigation.

McConnell Honda in Montgomery, AL will introduce the vehicle next month.
