2012 Honda Odyssey Featured on Parenting Magazine's "Smartest Family Cars of 2012" List
It used to be parents wanted a safe car, with enough room to take their kids, their kids' friends and all of their gear to and from school and whatever extra-curricular activities they were involved in. Now, many parents want more. Specifically, they want a vehicle that's so intelligently designed it offers owners sophisticated convenience and engages children.
Enter the Honda Odyssey.
You might have seen the 2012 Honda Odyssey pop up on the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's list of 2012 award winners. Or maybe ALG's list of Residual Value leaders.
More recently, however, the awesome family hauler was given a nod by the editors at Parenting magazine in their first-ever "Genius" issue.
The "Genius" issue, for parents not currently subscribing to Parenting magazine, is a collection of product reviews and advice on promoting higher intelligence levels in children. Among the product reviews featured is the "Smartest Family Cars of 2012" list, which showcases eight vehicles. The Honda Odyssey, we're happy to say, places third, above top competitors such as the Quest.
Speaking on the value the "Smartest Family Cars of 2012" list offers consumers, Ana Connery, Editorial Director for The Parenting Group says, "By recognizing today's smartest cars, Parenting hopes to make it easy for families to use technology on the road, whether it's for a quick run to the store or for an extended road trip vacation. Our...top picks have thought of everything so that parents don't have to."1
That's the nice thing about Honda, isn't it? They adapt to the times and consumers' more hectic lifestyles.
