Honda wants you to have a very happy Leap Year. As such, they've designed a special contest to celebrate February 29 (or Leap Day), which comes but four times a year. The grand prize giveaway is a new Honda CR-V CUV coupled with a 12-month supply of gas. In addition, there are nine more opportunities to win REI gift cards valued at a thousand dollars each.

What do you need to do to participate? Well, first you need to read all of the official rules at http://automobiles.honda.com/leap-list/contest/ to make sure you're eligible to win. Then, you can navigate toward compiling your Leap List, which essentially consists of 10 itemized to-dos, which you'd like to accomplish before taking the next big leap in your life. There are favorites you can choose from (i.e., running a marathon or learning a new language), or you can create unique items. The choice is completely up to you. Although, if you want a little bit of friendly advice, it wouldn't hurt to include one or two items that would be more easily accomplished with a Honda CR-V.

All entries must be received by February 29. A collective of Honda panelists will assess lists, including accomplishments and updates and decide on fifty finalists. The online Leap List community will then decide on the grand-prize winner and nine runners-up.
