Honda Dominates "10 Most Popular Cars for Moms" List

We see a lot of families here at McConnell Honda, and all of them are looking for something a little different to serve as their family vehicle. Lucky for them, the new Honda lineup features a variety of choices - from compact and fuel-efficient, to roomy and comfortably appointed and a mixture of everything in between. We're not the only people who think so, too! TrueCar.com recently released their list of the "10 Most Popular Cars for Moms," and Honda took half the spots on the list.

Earning the top spot, of course, was the versatile and stylish Honda CR-V. With 37.2 cubic feet of cargo space, we're not really surprised. We also think parents really love the available rear-seat entertainment system for those long road trips.

Coming in at number 3, the only minivan in the top ten: the Honda Odyssey. Parents loved the Odyssey because it can seat up to eight passengers and boasts 38.4 cubic feet of cargo space. Fuel economy for this segment-leading family-hauler? 18 city/27 highway*.

Following closely behind is the Pilot. It also ranked second among families with two or more kids. Like the Odyssey, it features seating for up to eight people. With all of the seats up, it boasts about 18 cubic-feet of cargo space, but the second and third rows of seats lay flat for more room.

We can't forget about those Honda sedans, either. Both the Honda Accord and Civic. They took the eighth and ninth spots, respectively. The Honda Accord gets 23 mpg in the city and 34 on the highway,* and the Honda Civic boasts 28 mpg city/39 mpg highway.* Both sedans come standard with a long list of safety and convenience features, as well as available add-ons and packages.

See? There really is a Honda model for families of every shape and size. Bring your family by McConnell Honda, 2840 Eastern Blvd Montgomery, AL 36116 to see which one you'll love the best.
