Learn How to Debadge Your Car

When you want to update the look of your vehicle or customize it to your preferences, you may want to take off the badge installed at the factory. There are a few ways to go about doing this. First, find out how the badge is attached. The badges attached with an adhesive are the easiest to remove. You can find out how the badge is attached by referring to your owner's manual or doing an internet search.

To remove a badge attached with adhesive, either pour hot water over it or apply heat with a hair dryer. Do not use boiling water. Use a plastic wedge to pry off the badge.

At McConnell Honda, we invite you to service your car with our certified mechanics. We're ready to handle all of your maintenance and repair needs.
