Recently, the new Honda Civic Hatchback was awarded the 2017 Hispanic Motor Press Autos del Año© Award beating out its other compact car rivals.

Thanks to the Civic’s attention to safety, design, cost of ownership, and customer satisfaction, this sporty model was voted as the compact car of the year by a jury panel of Hispanic Motor Press Award experts.

Last month, Honda set record numbers for both car and truck model sales.

Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB), is a nationwide competition between the leading marching bands at America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Honda also awards to participating marching bands in HBOB over $200,000 in grants, which can go toward supplementing scholarships, equipment, uniforms, and more. Taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, HBOB is Honda’s way of recognizing the excellent marching bands that exist at America’s HBCUs.
